Wordless Wednesday

Terrific Tuesday

The second official day of Spring Break and it RAINED and it was COLD ALL DAY LONG! This is going to the be rainiest week of the year - lucky us, huh? Larry decided to take the week off as well so yesterday was a Terrific Tuesday to some extent. We kept Colin home from Baby School and we started doing some work on the living room....
It took about three hours but ALL the wallpaper in the living room is now down! WOO HOO! It looks great and I think we have picked out the paint colors as well so now that is done life will be much easier. Picking paint colors is so stressful because it means we have to agree on something. I am not saying that we can't agree on things - but I am saying it is HARD to agree on this particular thing. As I said, I am pretty sure we have picked the colors and both of us are happy with them. It took about an hour and half to find the "perfect" colors. Now we will see just how perfect they are once we get them on the wall. Hopefully, that will be done by Saturday! I am crossing my fingers anyway.

Not only have we taken down wallpaper but I have cleaned out closets! Oh it was so much fun to rid myself of the stuff I don't wear or use. I had one large bag full of shoes - some that had never been worn that I took straight to Goodwill. I wish I would have taken a before picture, but I was so excited to clean it out that is never even crossed my mind to take the before picture until I took the after picture!
Now I know it doesn't look perfect and all the organized but there was stuff in there that I was NEVER going to wear - EVER again so I tossed it and I put everything in a certain order. I would love to paint the inside and add new organizers in there but I am not sure that is the smart move if we are planning on moving in a few years.

The goal now is to do a little work on Wednesday and then a little play...I am going to try to get some pictures so I can play Wordless Wednesday. The last time I played I wasn't so wordless!

Sleepless Sunday Ramblings

I guess technically it is now, Monday, but to me it is still Sunday night and I should be sleeping. Insomnia has overtaken me for the past three weeks. I am just ready for some decent sleep these days but it doesn't look like it is happening anytime soon. Tonight the insomnia isn't bothering me so much because tomorrow is the first official day of, SPRING BREAK! I have big plans to clean/organize the house and then get my hair colored later in the afternoon. I am so looking forward to this!

Over the past few weeks, I have decided to take up running. I noticed the other day when I got on the scale that I weighed more than I ever have without being pregnant. It was eye opening for sure. I don't want to be this heavy so I must do something about it. Last Monday I finally bit the bullet, so to speak, and went running with my friend, Lene'. We did 1.2 miles on Monday and our goal is to be at 3.2 miles by the end of April so that we can do the Corporate Run with a few girls from work.
Colin and I went out the other day for a run. He LOVED it, which really surprised me, so he will be my running partner on Tuesday's since Cade has speech and I can't run with Lene' that day.
Please excuse the poor quality of the photo - it was taken with my phone and part of my 60 Day Photo Challenge on Facebook.

I am BACK!

I am sure all you missed me so very much over the past few weeks. Things have just been so busy that I haven't had the opportunity to blog. Marissa has had Volleyball Tournaments, Cade has had TBall games, Colin, well, he is just busy within himself, and I have had work and chauffeur duty.

Cade trying on some new clothes!
Getting ready for TBall
First TBall Game
I will post again very soon, but I just wanted to try to get some recent pictures up really fast!
