June Baby

Camden joined us June girls!  She made her grand appearance on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 12:14 pm.  She weighed in at 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long.  

I know I might be a little partial, but this girl is gorgeous!  The pictures don't do her justice.  She looks like a porcelain doll!  She is also super petite, everything about her tiny!  I am seriously in love with her.   

I know this picture is blurry but here are the two big sisters getting ready to go in the room and meet their new baby sister.  It was so much fun to be there for that moment.  I feel so blessed! 

These girls were so excited!  But Alicia was especially excited about meeting Camden.  It was so very sweet! 

Della wouldn't look at me and smile.  She was too worried about how "heavy" Camden was on her legs.  It was priceless.

I feel so blessed to have been a part of Camden's birth.  It was an amazing experience and I am so glad I was able to be there. 

Happy Birthday Darlin'!

Today was Darlin's 78th birthday!  We were able to spend the weekend with her and I enjoyed it so very much.  I was even able to talk to her just like old times when I was a little girl.  Gosh, I miss those days.  

I can't even tell you guys how much I love this woman!  She is absolutely amazing and I wouldn't be who I am today without her.  Happy Birthday Granny!  I love you so very much!

Our Weekend in Lyons!

We went to my grandparents and my brother's house this weekend to celebrate a couple of birthdays.  

Granny, Alicia, and myself all have June birthdays!  I always say the best people were born in June.

It looks like we might have another sweet girl join our fabulous month as well.  I am impatiently waiting to hear if she will be joining us in the next twelve hours or so. 

This girl, well she is full of herself!  She sure does remind me a lot of me when I was a little girl. 

 She loves her Uncle Lex, loves baby dolls, loves all things girly, loves her Granny, her favorite color is purple, and she is a drama queen!  AND, of course, she loves her Aunt Lane!  

Reading with Uncle Lex - she brought him book after book to read.  He read each one to her, of course! 

I was also able to catch Colin quickly with Darlin'.  I love this picture and I think I am going to have it printed and put it in a frame.  They both look so happy to be with each other!  

After partying all day the littles were tired.  Of course, Dickie, was tired too!  He loves to nap and being with the littles all the time gives him a great excuse to nap and watch tv! 

I was able to get both of the boys together on the way home today!  They won't stay still for long at all so getting them in their carseats together is about my only choice.  

First Day of Summer

It was the official first day of summer!  It looked like such a promising day.  The sun was out early in the morning and blue skies.  We decided to make it a pool day because what other way would we want to spend it! 

I was too lazy to make lunch before going to the pool so we went to CFA.  I picked the worst time to go, right about 11:45am  so I was met with this beautiful line.  There were cars behind me as well. 

But as we all know, CFA was worth the wait! 

We were at the pool about 30 minutes and then it started raining.  We thought no big deal, we will wait it out but it rained and rained and rained!  We let the kids run around in the rain and when it slacked up some we even let them swim.  Seriously, they LOVE swimming in the rain! 

Colin also enjoyed a "freeze" pop on the first day of summer.  Cade doesn't like them at all, which is so very confusing to me!  What kid or adult doesn't enjoy these tasty things?  Haha! 

The boys wanted to have a sleepover on the couch bed so of course we let them!  I love that they want to do this with each other!  It's one of the few times it seems like they are getting along with each other and not fighting.  Haha! 

I had to get one of them looking at the camera as well.  I love their sweet faces! 

I hope everyone else had a very successful and fun first day of summer!  We sure did and we can't wait to enjoy the rest of our summer together!

Summer Bash '13

My mother's neighborhood pool had their annual Summer Bash!  Of course we were there and it was so much fun.  Lots of games for the kids and BOUNCY HOUSES!

 These bouncy house water slide deals are the best things ever!  My boys were exhausted when they got home yesterday evening.

Run, Slide, Splash!  He went in backwards and loved every. single. minute of it!

Father's Day 2013

Today, we spent the day doing what Larry wanted to do.  Actually, that might be a complete truth.  I am sure he didn't actually want to go play Mini Golf, but he wanted to do something with both of the boys.  Since Colin can't even make it through 9, Mini Golf was the next best thing.  

 

These boys are serious about Mini Golf!  It's so funny and fun to watch them.

 Here are few pictures from our Mini Golf trip.  The boys had a lot fun!  It got pretty hot there at the end of our game and we were ready to get out of there!

 And of course, Daddy himself!  I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful father for my children.  He is seriously amazing and I couldn't imagine our life without him.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray

My friend bought me a bottle of the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray for my birthday.  At first I wasn't so sure about it, but now I LOVE IT!!  I used it again yesterday - after playing with it the first time and this is what I got!

If you are considering investing in a bottle, you totally should!  So worth it!

It's Summer!

I am making a come back!  WOO HOO!

Or at least I am planning on trying too.  Our days have been spent at the pool with friends so far.  And they have been WONDERFUL! Seriously, I can't say it enough...
