As some of you know, my oldest son was born at 23 weeks 5 days. He wasn't expected to make it and if he did make it he wasn't expected to have a high quality of life. Cade is truly my miracle baby. I watched him grow and I witnessed miracles. I also experienced heartache and heartbreak. It was a roller coaster experience of emotions. Cade was in the NICU for 119 days, so of course that means I was there for that time too. One of my very best friends was there much longer than me and she left but she had to leave without her baby, Luke. This happens all too often in the NICU and it easily could have been me in that position.
I also have another friend whom I met online before Cade was born. She also had two NICU babies. I am posting a link to her blog so that you may read her story. She is also planning on a doing something so wonderful for NICU parents, especially those that leave the hospital without their sweet babies in their arms.

This such an amazing thing. I hope everyone will be able to contribute in some way, shape, or form.
