Yogurt Shop

We have a fun little yogurt shop in town that we love to frequent!  Each week they put out different flavors.  They have a ton of yummy topping as well.  I should take pictures so you guys can see!  :)
Anyway, Addison came over for a playdate on Friday after school so after dinner we headed out to the yogurt shop.  It was so much fun!
The first bite...
They thought they were so big sitting on the couch all by themselves.  It was precious, but it was even more precious when Cade pulled out his book and started reading to Addison.
Then they decided to move over to the "bar table" as they called it.
These two have been friends since they were babies.  Addison will be moving at the end of the summer and I am so very sad.  I am sad that my sweet boy is going to lose his best friend and I am sad that I am losing my sweet friend, Brianna.   It breaks my heart!  I know we live in a military town and I should expect this, but really the thought never even crossed my mind with them.  Brianna's whole family lives here.  Brianna went to school here and grew up here.  I just thought they would stay forever.   I am not looking forward to the end of the summer!

What we have been up too!

We have been so busy!  It seems like that dull time I thought we might have just hasn't happened.  School, work, family, and life has just had us completely wrapped up and that isn't such a bad thing.
My favorite peeps from work at our fun Smartboard training!
Notice the Zaxby's cups and the huge smiles on our faces.  Yes, that is because we never get to go out to lunch except on training days!
Sonic and Nutella have been my two favorite friends lately - neither one of them is healthy but I love them both equally!
I have been able to wear some outfits lately...
One of my students made this headband and I had to wear it.  Please excuse the hair!
I threw this together the other morning... nothing special but it looked kind of cute!
Friday mornings, I get to wear a Supreme Crown.  I mean seriously who wouldn't love this thing!

Disney "Daze" - Day 2

We made it out of Magic Kingdom earlier than usual so we could get back to the resort for an early bedtime.  It wasn't all that early, but earlier than our normal Disney hours.  We then made it back up at 5:15am so we could arrive for Extra Magic Hours at 7am!  Yes, crazy I know!  But look at those faces - pure happiness!
We were able to ride Ariel's Under The Sea Adventure - super cute by the way!  The boys loved it!  Cade was also able to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad four times.  He was pretty excited about that since it is his favorite ride!  We were also able to ride Peter Pan's Flight which is a favorite for all of us.  It was worth getting there early not to stand in crazy long lines for some of the rides.
Cade was also able to meet up with one his really good friends, Logan!  He and Logan are like two peas in a pod and since we live in a military area Logan moved at the beginning of Kindergarten but we have stayed in touch because Logan's Nana is my Assistant Principal; plus I went to school with Logan's mom.
These boys were so excited to see each other.  It warmed my heart and I was so happy they were able to spend a little time together.
We also made reservations for The Pirates League for our boys on the 2nd day of our trip.  If you haven't ever done this you should do it!  They have a Mermaid one for girls as well.  It is so much fun and worth the money!  Cade did this for his 4th birthday as well and apparently he remembered me having to scrub the makeup off so this time he decided to choose one with less makeup... so he went with Jake!  This was Colin's first experience and he didn't want any of the pictured ones to choose from!  He only wanted to be Captain Hook.  It was precious!
This was before their pirate makeover.
And of course the after picture!
Colin was SERIOUS about being a pirate.  If you asked him today where he got his medallion he will tell you, I don't remember!
The girls also joined us at the park later in the day.  Cade and Colin love them so much and so do I!  We had a lot of fun with them!
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are so much fun.  The kids wanted to ride it over and over again!
We however couldn't spend all day there so we moved on to dinner a few other rides!

Disney "Daze" - Day 1

I am exhausted and so are the kids, even though I am sure they would NEVER, EVER admit to that!  We had so much fun and ate so much junk.  If I thought I had gained weight before we went I was probably wrong because I think I gained about 10 pounds in the four days we were there!  I can't resist cotton candy, kettle corn, Casey's Hotdogs, popcorn, or waffle sandwiches with Nutella and fresh fruit (my all time favorite)!

We left Wednesday morning about 7am!  I woke the boys up about 6am and they both literally jumped out of bed and put their clothes on so quickly!  No fussing or crying or anything.  They were ready to go in about 10 minutes.  It was crazy!
We stopped in Palm Coast for breakfast and Alicia rode with us to resort.
Everyone made it to the park about 1pm.  We stopped and had a quick little photo op at the entrance.  Colin refused to look so we just went with it!  These sweet kids were so excited about getting in the park.
We made it in and got fast passes for Buzz Lightyear and then all four kids wanted to ride The Barnstormer!  This is a FAVORITE ride for all them and I must admit, I like it just as much as they do.   The wait was outrageous, think 90 minutes, for a 15 second ride.
This was also Della's first adventure on The Barnstormer.
And we are off!
All of the kids love riding The People Mover!  I mean seriously, they love this thing.  It makes me giggle that they love it so much because my mother would never let me ride it as a child because it was a waste of time.  Haha!  She will ride it over and over and over again with these babies though.
Smiles on FACES!!!
Another favorite is the Tea Cups!  I can't even ride with Alicia and Cade anymore.  They literally make me sick every single time so my brother thought he would brave it with the big kids.  My sister in law and I went with the little kids!
This was the end of the ride with my brother and the big kids.  He thought he was going to be sick and he did look a little green when he came off the ride.
The little kids had just as much fun!
But avoided making anyone sick!
It was finally time to return to ride Buzz!  This is always a favorite picture spot at the end.
Sorry for the photo quality!  My camera flash is broken - it broke Christmas Day and I don't know how to use my external flash.  So the whole trip I used my phone!

Things that seem relevant to kick off 2013!

MISTAKES
I will make MISTAKES this year!  And you know what, so will everyone else.  We will make big ones, small ones, even medium sized ones.  Those mistakes - the ones that even no matter how small or how big - will be turning points and learning points in our lives.  Today, I choose to embrace those mistakes that I am going to make throughout the year, because those mistakes are a part of me!  They are showing how I am growing and changing and even learning new things.
I challenge you all, to make glorious, amazing mistakes!

Love with ALL of your heart!
No matter what, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!  Even when it's hard and you don't want too...do it!  You are the only one who can teach others how to love.  The picture above sends me into tears because all those sweet babies LOVE each other and they surely love their grandmother and great-grandmother.  Both of those amazing ladies are going to love them no matter what, just like they did me and just like they did my brother.  So teach your babies how to love and how to love everybody!

Happy New Year!
