What I wore this week!

I need some inspiration for clothing!  I am wearing the same things over and over again.  I am ready for Spring/Summer.  Who else is with me on this?
Black pants are a staple for me!  I wear them at least once a week.  I know so exciting!
Another staple for me is dresses... I LOVE THEM!  Especially in the warmer months.  But in the cooler months, I wear leggings and ballet flats with them or tights and boots.
And FINALLY. FRIDAY!  JEANS!  How did I EVER live without skinny jeans?  Seriously, the best things ever,  I want a couple of pair for Spring/Summer as well.
It was only a three day week for us so I didn't have too plan too many outfits!  Thanks goodness for me the weather wasn't too crazy this week either.  That is always a huge plus!  So what are must have's for my Spring/Summer closest?

Perfectly Perfect

I got the text yesterday that I am going to have another niece!  I am so excited to meet this sweet new princess, Meera Lynn.  And what could be more perfect than finding out that I am going to be an aunt again?
Well, not too much, except maybe this cutie!

Weekend Ramblings!

It has been Saturday for days and days!  Seriously, I am so glad to know that today is Sunday.  It makes me want to do the happy dance for sure.   We have been out of school since Thursday and it has been freezing here.  Us, South Georgia folks aren't used to this weather and this girl doesn't do cold well!
Playing outside has been a no go - I mean when your 3 year old says they want to come in you know it's pretty darn bad!   Today, we decided we would go to lunch, get Cade's haircut, and then go skating.
Showing his big muscles!  Love this boy sooo much!
My lunch date.. the boys chose McDonald's since Chick-fil-a was closed.
Then it was time to skate!  The boys had a great time, and it was so fun to watch them.
He was completely exhausted but of course Cade is still going and going and going!
And just so you guys understand how done I am with the COLD!

Five On Friday

1.  I love getting packages in the mail - even if they aren't clothes for me but are clothes for the boys.  I am addicted!
2.  I am addicted to reality TV.  Honey Boo Boo, Cheer Perfection... you name it, I watch it!  So when I saw this ecard I couldn't help but laugh.
3.  Not only am I addicted to reality TV I have come to the conclusion that I am addicted to ecards.  Seriously, they suck me in for HOURS at a time and I totally can't stop laughing or texting them to my friends.  (The best ones are posted on my pinterest board under quotes)
4.  I work with a pretty awesome team!  We are so awesome that most days we dress alike without even planning too.
5.  I have started taking Daily Photos of myself...  Sometimes I forget in the mornings before work so my photos don't always look so great by the afternoon. I must make a mental note of that from now!
See what I mean...

First Trip To The Dentist

Let's be clear, that I HATE going to the dentist.  I pay the extra $30.00, although last year it was only $15.00, to get the "gas" to calm me down.  I can't stand any of the sounds in there.  It literally makes my skin crawl, especially when they start "scraping" with the hook tool.  I am sure it has real name I just don't know it nor do I care to know it.   So when it was time for Colin's first trip I could feel the anxiety working up.  I was so worried and scared for him.  I didn't want to make him feel that way though.  For a week I talked up the dentist and how awesome it would be.  Cade even joined in and helped me because Cade LOVES going to the dentist (obviously he must get this from his father).

When we arrived Colin was a little apprehensive while I was filling out the paperwork, but Cade was all smiles!
We waited in the waiting room for a while and read a couple of books.  Probably not a smart idea!  The one book Colin was so excited about reading was Going To The Dentist with Little Critter.  Yea, Little Critter had a cavity and needed a shot in his mouth.  ACK!!  Are you kidding me?  Of course Colin was then a little concerned that he would need a shot, but with lots of reassuring he was convinced there would be no shots.

We made it back into the room and he sat right down so nicely and of course I am thinking this is too good to be true!  No sir, it wasn't!  He sat there the whole time so nicely!  Opened wide like an alligator and everything.
I loved it when they put the little sunglasses on him!  It was precious.  He loved it too and even asked to look in the mirror so he could see too!
They counted his teeth... and he has 20 of them!
Then the real fun came in when she cleaned them!
He did such a fantastic job!  I was so very proud of him.  The only thing the dentist told me was I need to try to get rid of the "patsy" but of course I already knew this small bit of information.   I am not ready to let "patsy" go and neither is Colin.  It is going to be so hard, but I guess we will work on it this summer.
