Well, we thought it would be a grand idea to take a mini vacation to Myrtle Beach. We decided that it would be even more wonderful if we included Larry's sister, our 19 year old nephew, our 15 year old niece, our 13 year old niece, and our three kids.
Oh yes, it was WONDERFUL! No really, it was a lot of fun. We stayed at great resort. It had three pools, one lazy river, two kiddie pools, and five hot tubs or hot pools as Cade now calls them. We were also right on the beach so most of the time the big kids were at the beach while the little kids were at the pools.
What made this vacation even more wonderful for me was the fact that Colin woke up Monday morning with a fever of 102. I was in tears and didn't want to go. We drove to the doctor before leaving only to be told it was just a virus and it would have to run its course. The doctor even told me to GO TO MYRTLE BEACH! However she added to make sure I gave my sweet boy Tylenol to keep his fever down and of course keep him happy. The best part - he only ran a fever on Monday and the rest of the time he was PERFECTLY fine! Thank you, Lord! He knew I was stressed, I am sure of it.
Our first night there we went to The Boardwalk. Now I have big aspirations about being at The Boardwalk. Oh yes, I did! I thought I would put a bump it in my hair and pretend to be Snookie. Yea, I decided I am way too classy for that!
Instead, I decided to just have fun with my camera and the three kids who went with us!
Hannah needed new sunglasses so this what we did for a good twenty minutes.

Then we walked by Ripley's and we just couldn't resist these pictures!
This one is the best though...do we look really scared or what?
Cade wasn't so sure about this "pirate" with the parrot but we got a pretty good picture of him and Hannah with the parrot!
Two cuties that shouldn't be left out of the evening fun!
He was ready to go! The stroller is not his friend.
And finally as we were leaving - we got this cute picture. Deana (Larry's sister, Cade, and Hannah).
The next day we spent stayed at the pools or like I said the big kids stayed at the beach! The little kids loved the pool though. No pictures from there because I always forgot to take my camera down and then I was way too lazy to go up and get it. It was a lot of fun though and now I really regret not taking my camera down.
That night we went out to Broadway. Now that was really a lot of fun! I am almost sure it would be more fun for all of us IF Colin would have been okay with riding in the stroller for a longer period of time. But he wasn't okay with that, so Larry,Colin, Cade, and myself all left early so the big kids could have more fun!
We stopped and ate this place called Charley's. It was pretty neat for the kids to eat outside and look at the water. Actually, it was pretty nice out there so we all enjoyed it as you will see in the following pictures!
Cade and Bekha before we left for dinner.

My sweet baby and I
The Girls
Now there is lots more... but I can't post it all right now so that will be in part 2!
