My Project!

My mom was planning on throwing this beautiful table in the trash so I decided why not take it and try to make it work for my house!  

The above pictures show where I sanded it and roughed it up a bit.  Then I painted with primer.  I let the primer dry and coated it with spray paint.

This is the leaf of the table... not completely finished!

This was the table put together but without the glaze on the top. 

I found a pin on, where else, PINTEREST!  Haha!  It told me how to glaze the top of the table.  I used this mixing glaze and it was AWESOME!

All mixed up and ready to paint like a first grader!

Completely glazed... this was so much fun and such a stress relief!

This was a picture of the finished table in the garage.  You can't really tell how awesome it actually looks.

And this finished project in my kitchen! 

I could NOT be happier with how it turned out.  I would love to find new chairs for the table but for now these will work.  Please, don't tell Larry, but I am ready to start my next project... the boys headboards and dresser!
