We made it out of Magic Kingdom earlier than usual so we could get back to the resort for an early bedtime. It wasn't all that early, but earlier than our normal Disney hours. We then made it back up at 5:15am so we could arrive for Extra Magic Hours at 7am! Yes, crazy I know! But look at those faces - pure happiness!
We were able to ride Ariel's Under The Sea Adventure - super cute by the way! The boys loved it! Cade was also able to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad four times. He was pretty excited about that since it is his favorite ride! We were also able to ride Peter Pan's Flight which is a favorite for all of us. It was worth getting there early not to stand in crazy long lines for some of the rides.
Cade was also able to meet up with one his really good friends, Logan! He and Logan are like two peas in a pod and since we live in a military area Logan moved at the beginning of Kindergarten but we have stayed in touch because Logan's Nana is my Assistant Principal; plus I went to school with Logan's mom.
These boys were so excited to see each other. It warmed my heart and I was so happy they were able to spend a little time together.
We also made reservations for The Pirates League for our boys on the 2nd day of our trip. If you haven't ever done this you should do it! They have a Mermaid one for girls as well. It is so much fun and worth the money! Cade did this for his 4th birthday as well and apparently he remembered me having to scrub the makeup off so this time he decided to choose one with less makeup... so he went with Jake! This was Colin's first experience and he didn't want any of the pictured ones to choose from! He only wanted to be Captain Hook. It was precious!
This was before their pirate makeover.
And of course the after picture!
Colin was SERIOUS about being a pirate. If you asked him today where he got his medallion he will tell you, I don't remember!
The girls also joined us at the park later in the day. Cade and Colin love them so much and so do I! We had a lot of fun with them!
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are so much fun. The kids wanted to ride it over and over again!
We however couldn't spend all day there so we moved on to dinner a few other rides!
