Expectation

I haven't been able to link up with The Gypsy Mama lately because I have been exhausted from work, moving, quick vacations & just life in general.  So today, I had the chance...  here it goes!

You get married, you have expectations.  You have children, you have expectations.  You have a job, you have expectations.  You have friends, you have expectations.  Each relationship, each activity, each event... you place an expectation on.  You expect something out of it, something you have created in your head.  Perfection, maybe...  I have come to realize, quickly, that when you go into any relationship, activity, or event you shouldn't have expectations.  You should enjoy what you have, realize it is/was meant to happen.  It's one of life's gifts, the one with perfection.  You won't be disappointed, you will be amazed, if you let go of expectations.
