Random Thursday Ramblings

Today has been a pretty random day for us!  We have done nothing major, yet we have done a lot!

Last night, I decided that I needed to make a list of things that I needed to do each day.  I have felt like I am just running around in circles these days.  I have been cleaning, but not cleaning everything I want to clean each day - just random things.  There were also things that I wanted to do with the boys but I wasn't making time to do it.  I would just get involved in other activities and would completely forget to do things - like go the library until it was way too late!  So, last night I made the list below.  The boys and I almost accomplished every single thing on our list today, except going to the pool because it was raining (it has rained ALL day)!

We made it to the library this morning before lunch.  We spent about 45 minutes there looking at books, playing with some of the educational toys, and signing up for the summer reading program.   Cade was pretty excited and so was Colin.   I am a little afraid that Colin is going to get us kicked out of the library!  Even though I talked up the library and how it is important to be quiet and use a whispering voice, he was still screaming and running like a wild man.  I am sure it must just be the age!

After, our library adventure, which I am planning on making a weekly event, we went to Chick-fil-A.  I met my friend Kathy up there with her little boy, AJ, and her niece & nephew.   The kids played for a couple of hours while we sat and talked.  It was good to get out of the house and the boys really had a great time.  And really, who doesn't love Chick-fil-A! 

We came home to my favorite thing on the front porch!  A PACKAGE, right from Piperlime. I was so excited, I have been waiting for this package to get here.  Even though it wasn't the most exciting thing ever, I was pretty darn excited, for these shoes for Cade!  I love them and he loves them.

I LOVE tomatoes!  I mean, seriously I LOVE them.  They are one my very favorite things in the summer - especially when they are vine ripe.  Yummo!  I could eat them all day, every day.  I am so thankful for my friend, Belinda, bringing these to me.  She knows just how much I love them!
