Five Minute Friday - Path

I have decided to link up again this morning for a little Five Minute Friday.  It's just the perfect way to kick off the weekend.  

The rules:

1.  Write for 5 minutes flat - no editing!  (It's okay to get those thoughts out there)

3.  And mostly importantly...encourage the person who posted before you with their comments!  It's a rule!  :)

In life, we choose a path.  A path that best suits us...our dreams & aspirations.   We watch as we grow, make mistakes, fall, get up, & change paths.  The path we chose five years ago, isn't necessarily the path we NEED to be on now.  It might not be the path that was chosen for us, but the path we will eventually find through the hardships & the learning experiences & through the events that make our life.  Life is a path...a path we all follow, a path that leads us to the ultimate destination.   


As I look back on events in my life, I know that while I experienced hardships & took the wrong paths every once in awhile it was all part of the plan - not my plan, but His plan.  His plan to get me where I am today and while I think that I am following the path that is perfect right now.  It might change...it might be different, but it will be the path that is for me.

While completing my Five Minute Friday today, I realized some very important things.  Things, I hadn't thought about in a while.  Maybe today, you will have the same realization.  Happy Friday, Everyone!
